What do you get when you combine the forces of 3 women who have a passion for rescuing animals? You get Katnip Country Rescue! Katnip Country Rescue is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that rescues cats and kittens from high kill shelters in Alabama.
Kacey Crow Oliver (president/rescue organizer), Terry Bruno (vice president/foster coordinator) and Tracy Baggett (secretary/PR event coordinator) have spent their lives helping animals that would have otherwise perished. They have chosen to concentrate on cat and kitten rescue because oftentimes cats do not get the same opportunities at rescue as dogs do. It is a daunting task, but they wouldn’t have it any other way.
From goats, pigs and chickens to turtles, lizards, dogs and cats, these ladies have helped them all!
Doobert.com which is an online software platform custom-built for animal rescuers. It’s like a combination of Match.com specifically for animal shelters and rescues to find new partners, and then a volunteer Uber for getting the animals where they need to go.
